Terms of service

1. Who we are

Flintclip is a product of Cognimate.Cloud ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you create an account or use Flintclip in any way. If you use Flintclip for a company, you accept these terms for that company.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what your team members and anyone using your API keys do.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you upload and to the clips, captions and other material made from them.

You give us permission to store, process and transform your content only to provide the service to you: transcribing it, analysing it, cutting and captioning clips, writing copy, showing it to people you share it with, and posting it to the social accounts you connect when you ask us to.

You confirm that you own the content you upload or have permission to use it, including music, footage and the likeness of the people in it. You confirm this again each time you import a video from a link.

We do not use your content to train models for other customers. Clips of yours that perform well are used only to improve the moments picked for your own brand.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable use policy. In short: no unlawful content, no content you have no right to use, no attempts to break, overload or probe the service, and no attempts to make the AI ignore its instructions or reveal them.

5. Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account you authorise us to post to it and read its results on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time. You remain responsible for following each platform's own rules, including its rules on automated messages.

6. Plans, minutes and payment

Each plan includes a number of video minutes per calendar month and other limits shown on the Pricing page. A video uses minutes equal to its length when processing starts. Editing and exporting a clip again does not use minutes. Minutes are returned if processing fails or you delete a video before it finishes.

Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Before a yearly plan renews we send a reminder 7 days ahead.

Payments are handled by our payment partner, who acts as the seller of record and issues your invoices and handles sales tax. Refunds follow the policy shown at checkout. Lifetime licences bought through a marketplace follow that marketplace's refund terms.

We may change prices or limits for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your plan.

7. AI-made material

Scores, clips, captions, hooks and other written copy are produced with AI and can be wrong. Review everything before you publish it. You are responsible for what you post.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Flintclip available and announce planned maintenance on the Status page, but we do not promise uninterrupted service unless a separate written service agreement says so. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on from a paid plan, you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of the period.

9. Storage and deletion

Videos and clips are kept for the period your plan includes, shown on the Pricing page, and may be removed after it. We warn you a day before. You can delete a video at any time; it is removed from storage right away and from backups as they are overwritten.

10. Suspension and ending

We may pause AI features for an account that repeatedly sends text meant to manipulate the AI, pause uploads for an account that repeatedly uploads harmful files, and suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk. Where we can, we tell you why and how to fix it.

You may close your account at any time. On closing, your content is deleted, except what we must keep by law.

11. Liability

Flintclip is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss caused by content you post, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. General

These terms are governed by the law of the country where Cognimate.Cloud is established, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Questions: support@myagentictoolbox.xyz.
